Using shutter speed creatively......
Nancy Chambers is one of our online photography course students and has just submitted this image as part of her Bronze Diploma.
As part of your online photography course training, we cover aspects of using shutter speed creatively and here Nancy has cleverly used this technique to great effect.
By slowing the shutter (not enough to make the image too blurry), Nancy has enhanced the sense of movement whilst creating an artistic look that gives this capture more impact for the viewer. In addition, she has rightly left space in front of the main subject to allow it to move into the frame.
